Unlike conventional teabags labelled merely “biodegradable,” our home-compostable pyramid sachets are a superior innovation. Biodegradability, by its very definition, lacks specificity — virtually anything breaks down over time. Compostable products, however, are held to a higher standard, required to fully decompose within a set timeframe, leaving no trace behind.
Our tea sachets are crafted from renewable Polylactic Acid (PLA) — a 100% plant-based material derived from corn. Designed to deliver optimal infusion and exceptional flavour, these sachets can be responsibly discarded with food waste or placed directly into your home compost.
Even our packaging upholds these standards. Constructed from backyard compostable, renewable materials, it breaks down in a matter of months — a noble alternative to petroleum-based plastics, which may linger for centuries.
