Preparation
Step 1
Choose Your Tea
Select your preferred loose leaf or tea bag (black, green, oolong, white, or herbal)
Step 2
Boil/Heat Water
Boil water to the appropriate temperature, use fresh cold water (preferably filtered)
Black Tea: 95–100°C
Oolong Tea: 85–90°C
Green Tea: 75–85°C
White Tea: 75–85°C
Herbal | 95–100°C
Step 3
Measure the Tea (loose tea)
Ensure correct ration of loose leaf tea is used : 2g-2.5g per 250ml cup
Tea bags will already have the correct amount of teas inside the bags: 1 Tea bag: 1 per 250ml cup.
Step 4
Steep with Precision
Pour hot water into the cup/mug.
Steep for the recommended time, as per brewing guidance.
Black Tea: 3-5 minutes
Oolong Tea: 3-5 minutes
Green Tea: 2–3 minutes
White Tea: 2-3 minutes
Herbal Tea: 5-7 minutes
Step 5
Serve and enjoy
Remove the leaves or bag promptly to avoid bitterness.
